Meet Chiga Anao | Rapper/Alt Artists

What led you to pursue a creative path professionally?

I have always been a creative person. I think from birth I was around music, from dancing to it or being forced to be in the choir. My mother literally put me in music lessons as a child, Choir, Piano, and Guitar. I have always had music in my life. At first, I didn’t even want to make music; I wanted to be a dancer, but I guess music found its way around me. Be clear, be confident, and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it will continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.

Please tell us more about your work. What are you most proud of or excited about?

I’m most excited about my upcoming 7-Song project called Buckethead frank. What project I’m really proud of is my first album ever, it was quite expensive and most of it was recorded at my home studio and other studios as well.

What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?

What I want the world to know about my brand is to be yourself all the time and don’t let anyone tell you to be anything else. My brand Dawlhaus represents youth while being an adult. I mean we all get older and become adults but sometimes we leave that inner child behind and forget about him. My story is too inspirational not to be displayed at the highest level there is. Gimme about a year or two I guarantee I’ll be your favorite artist!

Shout out to some people, who helped you along the way.

First and Foremost I want to give a huge shoutout to God! Jesus Especially, without him I wouldn’t be here, he has helped me in times when I didn’t ask for help, and in times I did ask for help. I also want to shout out Art Album. They helped me find a way through the Scene in Philadelphia, and definitely get my artistry better each and every time I meet with them and have a conversation. Last, my family. They always supported me, especially my dad, and sisters!
